Materials are selected for authenticity, durability, and the way they improve with age. Natural stone, responsibly sourced wood, metal, glass, plaster, and finely made textiles are favored for their tactile richness and longevity. Patina and variation are embraced as evidence of use rather than imperfections to be erased.
