The Studio
Interiors that feel inevitable
For two decades, Axis Mundi has approached every interior as a single, continuous act of composition. Founded in 2004, the studio has built a reputation for interiors that are pared back, materially rich, and precisely proportioned, carried by one team from first sketch to final placement.
John Beckmann, Founder & Principal Designer. Parsons-trained, apprenticed under minimalist Joseph P. D’Urso.
